Clara BAE talks about herself in a brief interview section:

El-Shekina is a Cameroonian gospel music artist and singer. Her original names are Shekina Achaleke Molong . Originally a bangwa individual by tribe from the south west region of Cameroon . She started singing at age 7 in the Apostolic church Cameroon (Tiko) . Then moved to different choirs of her local churches and gospel musical bands including Awuhteh Gospel Choir, Group Shalom and Heart of praise which won the second prize at the Cameroon Gospel Acappella competition in 2015.

She decided to take music seriously and get professional in 2019. El-Shekina is also a fashion influencer. She emerged winner of the category of “Best fashion influencer “ in 2021 at the Maranatha Awards in USA.

El-Shekina, formerly known as Clara Bae changed her to El-Shekina based on what she stated, “going back to my roots”

She was born on December 27th, 2001 in Yaoundé, Cameroon and is the second of six , the first girl to her parents.

She released her first album of 7 songs, titled “Testimony”, in 2019 though she later on decided not to publish the songs.

Recently released a single audio Titled “I Am Yours “ on January 28th, 2022 . The video for this new single is scheduled for the 11th , February 2022.
